Our story

With a decade of experience freelancing in the video industry, we noticed a disconnect in how video professionals work with businesses.

For many creatives, corporate or B2B video has often been seen as a means to pay the bills. They use the term “talking head“ which essentially means, they are boring, soulless and something to be dreaded.

Most video professionals dream of doing something super creative, like producing big commercials or films.

On location, we often witness camera operators scrolling through their phones, seemingly disinterested in the subject or what’s happening in front of the camera.

What eventually results from situations like that is a video that falls flat, has little engagement and is a bit of an embarrassment to everyone involved.

The people that we typically film are not actors, and more often than not, have never been in front of the camera before. This means they’re nervous, and they need help if the video is to turn out to be successful.

At Winter Summer Media, we're on a mission to redefine B2B video. We believe the key to a successful video lies in compelling stories and meaningful messages. To achieve this, those on camera must be comfortable and confident.
